There’s only one week left in the Goodman Games’ Mutant Crawl Classics RPG. I’ve been on the fence so far with this project, but I’ll most likely end up backing it.

Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG is just so good, with so much quality and ideas its hard not turn down another iteration of it by Goodman Games. Mutant Crawl Classics RPG is supposed to be compatible with DCC RPG.

It’s basically a re-imagining of post-apocalyptic RPG Gamma World–which I’ve never played. It was before my time. The only information I really know about Gamma World comes from the conversion notes in the AD&D Dungeon Master’s Guide.

If anything, I’ll back Mutant Crawl Classics RPG because I know I’ll be getting a book chock full of ideas and cool artwork.

That’s one thing I love about the DCC RPG rulebook–you can turn to a page, especially the spell descriptions–and get carried away with the concepts and ideas for your games.

But will I ever get around to running Mutant Crawl Classics RPG? I have no idea. I’ve got enough nerd-irons in the fire as it is.

What do you think about Mutant Crawl Classics RPG? Yea or Nay?
