I finished these guys at the end of 2017. They were part of an order I purchased during Black Tree Design’s Thanksgiving Weekend sale.

I painted them up fairly quickly. And of course, now I see certain “blemishes” in the photographs. But they’ll work as generic crossbowmen during the Hundred Years’ War period, functioning as French, Genoese, or perhaps early Burgundians.

They’re based for Ancient and Medieval Wargaming, by Neil Thomas.

I might even use them for Kings of War if my opponents don’t mind them not conforming to the proper “footprint.” (If I put them in a square regiment formation they’re 20mm longer in the back than the rules supposedly allow).

But most importantly: they are done.
